I have always enjoyed reading and writing, and completed my first short story, for a local book fair, when I was eight years old. By the time I turned ten, I had written my first story of considerable length; it was a fantasy-fiction tale that would introduce me to my passion, which would soon begin to occupy large amounts of my time. I became (and still remain) involved with my stories to the point where I sometimes end up thinking about the characters or setting during a math or chemistry test! It may seem odd, but it's at times like these that I'm often struck with my best ideas - some of the plot twists in Sorceress of the Himalayas were thought of during my numerous exams at school.

Sorceress of the Himalayas has been an amazing experience to write and publish, because it has evolved along with me as I have grown over the past three years. I am currently a junior in high school, which means that I don't have much time to write anymore! When I do get the chance, however, I continue to experiment with different plots, characters, and even alternate universes. - Ketaki Shriram
